Well I didn't really WANT Crackdown. But after so many MADDEN FANS bashed Madden (and seeing as the competition only cost 2 dollars) I went on ahead and exchanged it for Crackdown at Circuit City. And good thing I did! It came with a free Halo 3 faceplate for the 360! (Now I could care less about Halo but I looooooove free!)

Crackdown got really good reviews but it's not my cup of tea.

What IS your cup of tea Fudge? I been trying to figure you out for a while now... Evidence suggests you only like Forza and ESPN NFL 2K5 :)

I'll stick with current and last-gen stuff:
I'm totally down with the sports games ie: 2K5 MLB, NBA, NHL.
I was fond of Fable, Knights of the Old Republic part 1.
I like the GTA games and Saints Row.
I loved Forza
I liked Ultimate Spiderman, Batman Vengeance, the DreamCast Spiderman game
Liked Leisure Suit Larry Magne Cum Laude and Phoenix Wright
Liked Mario Kart DS and New SMB
I TOTALLY dig Wiisports
Esentially I like all sports games and a few platformers and (very few)RPGs
and don't care at all for FPS games and long, slow turn based RPGs.

I just finished single player about 20 minutes ago. I've got to admit I bought the game simply for the beta invite, but I turned out really liking it. Definately a nice break from the Wii.

When I posted that I hadn't started the game yet. I'm really just getting into it now. Just figured I'd pick up a few stars just to remain competitive.

lol there's no competition in multiplayer..
BOTH persons get the orbs, both persons get the level completed when bosses die.

Yeah but when one person can jump a hundred feet and the other can jump ten... it kind of changes the complexion of the game.

This game was sold out at the BB by my house. I'm gonna guess that it's more because of the Halo 3 beta than anything else.

Wow. I haven't seen it sold out anywhere. There were a ton at Circuit City and a ton at Gamestop and Game Crazy. At Gamestop they were like "Did you Pre-order?" and I said "Sh**-No. What kind of a loser do you take me for? I should be using this money for buffalo wings and putting liquor into some girl at a bar. It just so happens that I've had a stomach ache the past couple of days, and I figured I might as well do something while I'm at home."
I really don't believe in pre-orders because, the sad thing is, games just don't sell out the way they used to. Either they make a TON more games that they used to... or people just don't get excited about games anymore. Street Fighter 2 you HAD to pre-order. Same with Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. But those were different times... I'd only preorder now if they gave you something free with the game... But I didn't preorder Crackdown and I got something free (A Halo 3 faceplate... that's going straight to Ebay) anyway.
Been addicted to Crackdown all week, maxed out all my skills, done all the road and roof races, 462 agility orbs and 125 hidden orbs and i still havent completed the game.
Im currently just doing the achievements and glad im doing all the side stuff before completing it, as id think it would be pretty short if you just did all the boss`s first
