New biuld Noob question

Hi I'm looking to upgrade my sons pc to a celeron d 352 with this mobo

This will be the first intel I've worked with for a long time so my question is can the celeron352 work with DDR2 ram?

Yes.

All of the modern chipsets from intel since the 925XE have been DDR2 ( minus some oddities :))

What are you upgrading your son from?

Cheers for the replies I haven't touched Intels since P3 days so I'm well out of it as far as their concerned. I was going to go for a conroe rig for myself and give him my old one but money's a bit on the tight side.

Goshawk It's a p3 500mhz I put together out of bits I had in a box in the attic.

What kind of money are we talking about? a decent rig could probably be tossed together for about 500$ US that would probably have a celeron in it, but able to run a conroe later :)
