New CPU and Memory

Hello Friends

I have Asus P4S800D-X board, Socket 478
(Mobo supports up to DDR400 3200)
CPU: 2.4b
Memory: 1x512mb (PC2100) 1x512 (PC3200) 1x256 (PC2700)


I am running 2.4b at 2.9Ghz at the moment.

These memories and CPU will go to another machine.

I like to get CPU + Ram bundle for about $150 then OC them both.
Maybe 2.4c or 3.0E + 512Mb Ram

Which 2.4c is best for oc and which ram is best for oc ?

I know I have small budget :(

If you can i would get the 3.0E the extra cache makes a difference or try for a 2.8E i had a couple of them and they both clocked to 3.6 on air, also try and get a matched pair of ram sticks 2x256mb will perform better than one stick of 512mb
