Does anybody know of any issues with Firestix RAM? I have 4gig of it and cannot seem to get it to overclock, nor can I get my CPU(E6600) to go over 2.8 on the o/c!! Anybody help??

Hello and :welcome: to you

First off can I ask what bios, cpu volts, mch and ram volts you are using.

And all so have you given it a go with only 2 sticks.

If your not 100% sure what these setting are please read this thread

Firestixs or Deadstixs??

External Clock:320MHZ
Multi: X9
New CPU: 2880MHZ
N/B Strap: PSB 1066
Dram Spec: By SPD (4:5)
Extimated NEW Dram Clock: 400MHZ (DDR2-800)

Voltages:
Cpu: 1.3500
DDR2V:2.25
MCH & PCIE : 1.60V

Memory: By SPD: 5-5-5-15

Bios: 13 Date: 12/12/2006

I can get the CPU to overclock to about 3.2 but my memory does not to well in MEMTEST

I have only done all 4 stixs!! I thought the more the better!!!

How I wish it was "more the better" it puts more load on the NB running 4

Before I start, I should have all so asked about your cpu cooler, what one are you using

Cooler

Freezer Pro 7
120mm front and rear fan
and also a side fan,, trust me it is cool even the NB,, Cooling not a problem

Should I take out 2 stixs or will i be better of getting what i can with the 4 stixs? If I take them out, what order should I leave the other 2 in? 1 and 3 banks?

Yep take 2 out and leave 1 and 3 full for now
And see if that helps

Edit: Ive just sent you a pm, but just in case you dont see it I'll repost here.

When you OC'd to 3.2 did you change the Dram Spec to 1:1
