I can run programs using ms-dos prompt but for some reason it says "no sound card is found." Does anyone one know how to enable my sound card for DOS prompt? i have SB LIVE and I already installed the DOS drivers. The OS im using is Windows ME.. help is appreciated. thanks in advance.
I believe you need the SB-LINK wire, but I could be mistaken.

I do not believe that Windows Me has full 'DOS' within it, it most certainly does not have certain files and as such may cause conflicts with true DOS based programs that require these. Previous threads on restoring true DOS into WinME can be found and Here (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28870&perpage=10&pagenumber=1) ..You may also require specific DOS sound card drivers.
