Like you'll leave a 4GB memorystick occupied with a Vista DVD mirror all the time! So what they are 'forgetting' is that everytime at first you will be waiting for 15 minutes to copy the DVD contents to the thumbdrive and then you'll have the fast install. With it all ending up taking up MORE time...

So that brings the Vista install up to... 20 mins? Can Vista be installed in less than 20 minutes from a DVD? Either way it's a cool trick. It would probably be better if you needed to install it on multiple machines, or in a business situation. You could keep 1-2 flash drives around for quick installs of Vista.

I'm assuming this trick will work for any OS? XP and the like?
