Hmm I sent mine like 2 weeks ago and they finall updated my RMA Status..

Problem is I have no idea how to read it.

Here's a rough info of the graph:

Line #1
Model Number: WDxxx-xxx
RMA Qty: 1
Rcv: 0
Shp Qty: 1
Pending* : -1

----End Of That----

What does this mean anyone know?

Reply ASAP.

Well, I've not RMAed a WD hard drive, but I did RMA a Maxtor, and I'm currently RMAing a Seagate drive.

My advice: be patient. You might also wanna email them about it, and find out where it sits currently. As long as you still have your RMA number, they can look up the progress.

Hmmmm,
WD, you think they would be good at RMA's,

but then, they tend to die just out of warranty...

I have RMA'd a WD drive... you do get the drive eventually, just takes some time. Took -if I remember right- about 2 or 3 weeks... So if they have told you that youre gettin it, you will.. just wait!~!

WD, Offers you a slightly faster RMA if you give them your credit card and they cross ship, when they get the defective drive back they credit your CC. Or just RMA it and wait the 2 to 3 weeks.

Eventually you will get it back.
