Nope!

Only X16x0-X19x0 will fold...and the X16x0 cards aren't really worth it the X1800 card are barely any better but the X19x0 cards is where the $$$ is at.

Well that sucks. Isn't the X800 the same architecture?

Folding on agp (cellys) with x1950 pros for 587 PPD per. Keeping two of the cellys folding at stock speeds by using the vid cards.

No, not the same architecture....I'm not sure what the x800's are, but the ones that can fold are based on the 580 core+ That core number comes to mind, I think thats the 19* series, I think the 500(?) is the 16-18* and is just a weee bit different.
Anyway, thick and thin of it, it wont fold.

Probably didn't have programmable shaders would be my guess. Well, it might still be worth buying. For $80, its still about twice the performance of my current 9800PRO.....

I'm actually quite surprised that AGP cards can fold at all. I thought AGP was geared for transfers to the cards without thought given to taking data from it. Obviously my info on that is wrong.....

x800's are r420 and r430 cores in case anyone cares. :)

yeah its all about the number of shaders and the core.

atm 1950 pro is the best bang for the folding buck i think. AGP 8x and pci-e are about equivalent for folding.

If you are gonna primarily fold on it, don't waste the slightly lesser money on the lower end cards ...it won't be worth the heat and electric IMO. And i am sure if you occassionaly game on it, they will work better too.

Damn, I should have bought the card outright. Looks like someone else was smarter and bought it instead.
