what procedure from artic silvers website do i use to put on the as5 on the gpu

This should be the closest to a 7900gt. I would probably go with the ceramique for a gpu though. (non-conductive and all)

Same as appling it on cpu without Ihs. Put some as5 on a core and then use razor (or anything) to spread thin layer over whole core.

Ya, ceramique or mx-1 work pretty much the same (some people say they work better). You could always use the method i use for my cpu, small dab to core, spread by heatsink pressure.

ok thanks thats what i thought but i wasnt sure and as5 will be fine on the gpu though wont it

My 9800pro had as5 applied to it several times and no shorts. However I spent $180 on that card, and a bit more on the one I have now, So I am a little more paranoid now :)

as5 will be ok as long you don't get any on little chips around core.

Been using AS products from back in the AS2 days on a high dollar GF2 Ultra till current. AS5 was on it before Septh and it was fine.
