reboot-audio problems

hi guys. i gotta a random problem with my pc. it sometimes restarts in the middle of doing something and when it reboots the audio sounds like an old nasa radio. to cure the problem i have to restart my ststem and the problem is gone. it doesnt seem to be at any given time, but as i play WOW alot, its usually right in the middle of a raid...

upon reboot i get the system message 'the system has recovered from a serious error'

anyone got any clues as to what this can be?

relaod the audio driver? See if a new one has been released.
