A friend of mine might upgrade to a DX10 card soon and he offered to sell me his MSI GeForce 7900GTO, so that I could put them in SLI. The PSU I have right now is the one that came with the case, and it's only 450W, so I know it won't be enough to handle 2 GTO's. I WAS looking at the Ultra Connect X2 550W Modular PSU, but I saw some reviews that it wasn't really that good or even that it should be avoided. I've looked at a bunch of reviews fora bunch of other PSU's but I can't really decide. I get conflicting information everywhere I go.
Could someone please give me a few recommendations? I'd like to stay under 150$ CAN if possible.
Specs are in my sig. Note that if I get the other card, I'll probably stop oc'ing them since it might not be needed, or I might just give the ma small oc.
Thanks in advance :D
Now noise/modular (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=19832&vpn=CMPSU-520HX&manufacture=CORSAIR)
Slightly beefier, but louder (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=19646&vpn=SST-ST56ZF&manufacture=Silverstone%20Technology)
Either would have no problem.
and for budget and not to be forgotten, in the same league as the other 2

I'm liking the first one, the corsair HX520. So I could run my 3800+ at 2.4 and 2 7900gto's on that PSU with no problem?
The corsair hx520 would handle that with ease and have headroom for future upgrades. Modular, quiet, efficient (80+), solid voltage regulation and clean output, its a very good unit.

I personally have had some bad problems with enermaxx, twice the PSU has blown, but customer service is excellent and they send a new one ASAP.

HX520W is a great PSU, even under load mine barely fluctuates on the 12v.
And it is incredibly quiet, on the verge of being silent :)

Apple, ran some stress tests today with double instance of Orthos and hooked the DMM up: 12.08v - 12.14v for an hour. :) Runs at 12.21v idle. Getting spoiled!
