I have an old PC with only one small stick of RAM, I want to put in some more in but I don't know what type I should get (DDR2, DDR-DIMM or SDRAM) I tried some SDRAM sticks I have but the Mobo wouldn't even boot with them in it.

The stick I want identified is the one with the chips mounted vertically on the PCB:- (The bottom one in these pics)

Have you got the make and model number of the pc the memory came out of or the make and model number of the motherboard.

Edit nice find NeurOmancer.

NeurOmancer has found the memory for you, i had a look at Packard Bell's site not very informative, all the info on the gigabyte board was in french or spanish so not a lot of luck there.
