well i've had the logitech optical for almost a year now and love it as much as the day i install it. No more friction from that mouseball! :D
The Screensavers on TechTV tested the two head on - with a few other optical designs and ps2 mice.
The dual logitech edged out the MS explorer in responsitivity.
Plus the logitech ''feels'' stronger/more durable
I vote for Logitech!

Not to mention that little hassle of cleaning the rollers inside the mouse!!!
I have the 2x Logitech, awesome.

I'm using the Logitech Dual Optical mouse and it's a great little rodent. Don't use the Ratpadz though. It doesn't like the surface texture, color or reflectivity level or something. Try the fUnc pad, if anyone has it in stock.
I just bought the Cordless Intellimouse explorer a couple hours ago
it's working awesome
The Logitech is very reliable accurate and fast .. no "back and forth pointer and stuff"..
The Logitech Cordless/Optical combo is a good option if you have the bux to blow.
If not I'd go with Logitech Optical 2x...
I have a ??? Why does my mouse pointer mysteriously jump across the screen @ random times? Does it with every mouse???

well if ur using an optical mouse on some reflective surface, sometimes your mouse will have some strange jumping as the lasers reflecting off the surface at the wrong angle. So just put it on a dull surface or a nice mousepad. :D

FYI, i have the intelemouse explorer, (the silver one) and i did some research on the "ratpadz" and i heard all good things. so i invested in one WOO HOO was it worth it. i swear my frags went up! it is so smooth, omg, like its on ice! it weird how it works, and it cleans up nicely!!!! mmmmk, i just whipped out the ole digital camera, and heres a pic 4 ya!
ratpadz.com i believe! as you'll see in the pic
put some antlers on it for the holidays ... can pass for rudolph!
Logitech Trackman Marble Scroll. Microsoft have ripped off the same shape with extra buttons but unless you have very tiny hands they get extremely tedious to use.
