ist install winxp home ed

just recieved my oem copy of winxp. looking in the brief manual
that came w/ it it mentions the product key. when i looked on the
back of the booklet there wasn't a label attached.the only no.
i can find is under the bar code. is that it or do i need to contact the store i ordered it from ? this is my 1st time doing this so sorry if this sounds dumb!

Hmm try looking in all pages of the manual try looking in the CD Case..

thanks for quick reply ! it was in a little plastic pouch that i almost trashed! btw can boot from the cd or do i need to make a boot up disk?

i booted from the CD on my WIN XP Pro Corporate edition

should be all the same
