Damn I was to late. I really need a backup set of DDR2 and this would have been perfect.

I kinda doubt its fatbody (EOL'd product) they used to be fatbody.. and as far as frequency is conserned the newer D9's are actually better.
Most likely Micron D9 of some sort though but who knows :shrug:

For what its worth, there was only 1 left at the time they came back in stock, not a limit per customer. I checked the quantity (put 99 is the order quantity and it will show you what is available, if less than 99) and there was only one left...they must have found one that was hidden in the back of the bin :D or perhaps someone cancelled an order and they added it back.

As far as what chips they use...I believe that these are all original stock, but v1.5, like the dual kits they were selling a few months ago. Just left over stock that showed up somewhere or had been kept aside for RMA purposes.
I'm quite sure that Corsair has not had any new runs of these modules, after all, they have been EOL for quite a while (as far as Memory lifecycles go).
Just another piece of ram history.
