Or can you reccomend any micron d9 kits under £150 uk

lots of ram will run 433mhz 4-4-4-15. you just got some bad sticks...it sucks but it happens.

out of those you posted, i would proably try the OCZ's, because the corsairs are 5-5-5-15, and the geils are rated at 400mhz, 4-4-4-15, but with 1.9-2.3v. 2.3v is pretty high for those clocks. seems like they are covering a lot of ground there, to provide for decent sticks (that would run those speeds at 1.9v) and bad sticks (that need 2.3v to do it). at least with the ocz, they are rated 1.9v-2.0v, so you should have more room to play with on the volts.

about a recommendation for d9 kits under 150 (sorry i don't have the sign for pound on my keyboard), that all depends on what you have access to. i would suggest some team group ram, like what you see in my sig. i got the ddr2-667 kit, stock timings are 3-3-3-8. the ddr2-800's are the exact same ram, but are rated at 4-4-4-12. lemme grab you a link to a US retailer so you know what to look for..667's and 800's

those are $270 and $280 usd, so 139.603 and 144.774 GBP.
