Again as I originally said with the "everybody votes channel", pure stupidity. At least we came up with some good ideas about voting for Virtual Console releases but this is pretty useless. One guy pointed out they may do something like the Sony Home thing, but I tought that was dumb too.

so where is the "Everybody Plays Online Games" channel? Nintendo is now at a point where they can't be delaying online play any longer. These new channels are just a waste of time, maybe a popularity channel will go over big in Japan, but the rest of the world won't care. Quit screwing around Nintendo.

Well, I 'spose it'll be interesting seeing multiple copies of Hitler square off, or something :-/

This is the problem with Ninty they come up with crap that no-one really wants like the vote channel should be about what you would like to see on Virutal Console etc. They also need to update the firmware so you can save to your SD Card as well as system memory.

My mate has 2GB and having to copy stuff across to that to free up space to save or play something else is stupid.

He does know that he can delete certain games that he's downloaded, and then re-download them for free at a later date, right?

Yeah he knows that but come on you cant tell me you would like to load and save to memoy card as well as onboard flash

yeah I agree that it's dumb you can't run stuff off the flash cards. I think it's to help stop piracy with people walking around with VC games from console to console. But seriously, like I couldn't find every SNES ROM made with about 5mins of googling.

I haven't bought any virtual console games yet, thus I didn't realize that you couldn't store/run them off the SD cards. That's bloody stupid. No I didn't RTFM, btw.

Yep Fudge they've put a block on the SD card for saving you save games and channel's to onboard flash memory. Then if you want a game and have no spare space you move either a channel of a current non played game to the SD Card and then download the new 1.

Surely they could figure something out that would let you save to SD card like just games saves and channel's I understand not allowing VC games to be copied.

This announcement coincides with the new 'Wii would like to play' commercials that Nintendo has been doing. The focus of the new channels is the Mii channel.

Also, in Japan, all the Wii owners got two free celebrity Miis the other day, which was kinda cool.

The transfer rate seems fast when my mate was moving some stuff but he's now only got Mario 64 and Bomberman 93 or whatever year it was.
