I honestly think you need to wait for the price drop.

Other than that looks pretty good to me.

i would get the asus but its too expensive (not gonna get the oem)
and whats wrong with the ocz . . . its still cheaper than both the silverstones

do some research and you will see, its not that there's something wrong with it, its just its not that good, that enhance will whip its ass in efficiency and clean stable 12v power. The 2 silverstones for $25 average more are among the best on the market in the price range, the OCZ doesnt compare to any of them.

I would go for a silverstone but im really not really to sacrifice anything else and am maxed out with my budget. I've seen plenty of people do what i want to do with the OCZ with a very similar setup, and i can always get a better one in a few months. =/

Anyone else have input?

yeah,

actually i have the same sound card as you in an older build with the tsunami dream...but I'm giving that one to my mom and just taking the sound card out
btw how are those icemats? i'm using the medusa 5.1's and i love em.

i'd get either an e4300 or e6600 or higher. I love my e6300 but I wish I had that 9x multiplier. I already maxed out my ram :( but got some crucial ballistix pc2 8000 coming :)

i would get a 6300

unless you order from somewhere with old stock, the new e6300's are allendale as well, so really, the e4300 might be a better choice, with its 9x multi. i haven't seen enough e6300 allendale oc's to say if they do better or not.

thanks. :)

and for the psu, if you are maxed out on budget, and want something that will be much more robust than the OCZ, look no further than the Zippy G1 500w. don't let its rating fool you, you'd be hard pressed finding a 600w psu that can keep up with it. ;)

and its only $119 (ocf members can get a $5 discount).
