I use Norton Ghost to mirror my hard drives. So waht I used to do is use a floppy with Ms dos to boot into dos and start Ghost etc. But with a recent upgrade I no longer have a floopy so I made a floppy image and I am now booting off the CDROM,. Everything seems to be ok except one HUGE PROBLEM. When booting from the CD, it does not see my RAID 0 array drives. Just to make sure, I put the floppy back, sure enough, the raid is recognized again.

I am using a KT7A Raid board. Anyone have anyway to make booting off teh CD Recognize the Raid?

My guess would be it has something to do with cdrom only being able to read versus floppy's read/write.

Its possible that the program is trying to store temporary data while running the program on the disk but is unable to do so because it *thinks* its a floppy still.

What does it have to do with writing? I am not sure what you mean.

The Raid ) array is recognized when I boot fromt he Floppy. (Without loading ANY RAID DRIVERS) The Same image when put on a CD, while it boots fine. It doesn't recognize the Raid Disks....

That is my problem...
