Transfer Xbox 360 Game Saves from HDD to HDD

I have two Xbox 360s... one at my house, and one at my girlfriend's.

All of my save game files are on the one at my house, and I wanna get them on my gf's also... Profile Recover obviously does NOT do this b/c it is only for xbox live stuff.

Any way I can do this? Would I need to go buy an Xbox 360 Memory card... will that even work?

And also... is there a way I can put some computer guru technique into this... :)

Two things immediately come to mind:

1. Yes, I believe a memory card would work just fine. That's what they're for.
2. You could also use an Xport to just copy the files to a memory stick or something.

The xport should be cheaper but the Memory card would be more practical for what you want to do. (Though the Xport would be more versatile in the long run.)

I just returned an Xport because SCREW IT!

i'm thinking that the memory card may be the best bet... so that i can carry it to my gf's everytime i go there, and vice versa...

the 360 will let me copy from the hdd to a memory stick, right? thx boss!!

I don't know if it'll let you copy gamesaves from the HDD to a memory *stick*... but it will let you copy them from the HDD to a memory card. If they let you copy it to a stick I guess you wouldn't need to buy anything at all. But I'm not in front of my 360 so I can't answer that with any certainty.

But yeah, for what you want to do, the memory card would be your best bet.

yeah i tried a flash drive, and also tried a fat32 formatted external... neither worked.

Microsoft just wanted to make $$ off of accessories... but I'm no OCer no00bie!!! We are tweakers here, so I figured we can tweak something for free... guess that ain't happenin, lol.

W/e... i'll spend $20-25 on ebay for a memory card... then i can transfer from my gf's to my home on demand.

One other problem... and i HATE microsoft for this... is the RECOVER GAMERTAG feature... I'm not allowed to have my account on two 360s... i have to RECOVER GAMERTAG every freakin' time i start up the other machine... grrrr....

so i saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-360-Memory-Card-64MB_W0QQitemZ290093695325QQcategoryZ122517QQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem?hash=item290093695325)on ebay for $18 shipped, but it doesn't come with carrying case, and he says he'll ship within 3 business days (too slow for me).

so i picked up this (http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-360-MEMORY-CARD-64MB-LIKE-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ320092206313QQcategoryZ122517QQrdZ1QQ cmdZViewItem?hash=item320092206313) from ebay instead from a power seller. cost me almost $4 more, but this guy is in Maryland and I'm in NY... first-class shipping will get to me fast anyway, and i think a carrying case is necessary... i didn't feel like using a ziplock bag, lol.

still not bad for $21.68 shipped... and the other one for $18 shipped isn't bad @ all either... this will make transferring save games super easy!!
