I'd like to know what would I require to cool my 1.2 Celly down into the low 20c with air cooling. Right now, I'm running 30/34 with heat jacked up in room and 26/30 with no heat turned on. I haven't tested it under full load so I don't know the temps. I'm currently using the Volcano II with no case fans. It's pretty much bone stock. Are these temperatures realistic with the swap of a CPU fan and additional case fans?

what case do you have?

you definitly want case fans!!

and I would trade in that volcano 2 for at least a volcano 6cu or 6cu+

a CAK38 or swifty would be better.... but cost more.

Keep me informed and your temps sound great already!

i really doubt you will get down to low 20s with any sort of air cooling, but you can try

I have some cheapo local store branded case.

Prices aren't too much of a concern, as long as they provide the best price to performance ratio. Noise level isn't too much of a concern either but I don't want any screamers.

Probably not a good comparison to use but I'm trying to get my temps close to what my friend is running. He's got a Celeron 850@1066 I believe with crappy chrome orb, thermal paste and basic case fan. Amazingly, he's rigged the orb run at lower rpms, I think it was running around 3000rpms. Although nothing special, he can get it around 22/25 idle. Not asking for severe temp drops, but I think it is plausable.

Your definitely not going to get that down to even 30 Celius.

Pinky has a 1.2 Celeron at 1.5 and its at high 40's..

So that really explains how hot it gets when overclocked and he also upped the vcore.
