Well the deal is: I have 2 150 raptor now and they are set up in raid 0. I now feel as if I need some sort of protection as I now have enough important data on my HD's that I should protect it.
With that said I will state that I am willing to buy another drive, software or whatever to get the job done.
What is the best (and most efficient) way for me to backup all my data. I would prefer a running backup and would like to keep the performance of my current setup. I am quite new to this and not sure if a software solution is for me or if I should change my raid level. Maybe just a third drive(internal, external) to backup too. Again this is all a litle new to me....thanx in advance.....
ohhh p.s. this is for the main rig in my sig

What i typically do is setup a briefcase file somewhere else on my network... and syncronize with it periodically. It does require human interaction, probably not the best way to go.

You could use Acronis drive image and make automated backups with it. It also does an incremental backup too, and just backs up things that have changed.
