All,

Over the weekend I was trying to install a X1950Pro ATI card (MSI brand card) on a system witn Win2k Pro.

The card box says Win2k is supported, but the drivers threw an error isntalling, saying to try using the standard VGA drivers before the install. (This was a fresh 2k install, it was at the base VGA drivers and dx9c was installed.)

Checking ATi's website, they don't list any Win2k drivers.

Will this card wokr with 2k or do I need to upgrade to XP?

Thanks!

Did some more searching and found other manufacturers that claim 2000 support - has anyone done it? I'm not having luck thusfar...

Is the deal that I'm stuck at that 6.2 cats and there will no longer be any Win2k updates?

Use the WinXP drivers. They always worked for me when I was using Win2k.
