Has anyone got any experience of using these fans?

It seems to be using those slots in the side of the fan housing in a similar way to the Millenium Glaciator. The link above provides info on the fan. This one linkage (http://home.att.net/~alemont/noise2.html) give sinfo on haow the theory wokrs.
Looks good to me but I cant find anywhere that sells them. Think I might try to mod one of my own by grinding slots in the fan case with a dremel.
Any thoughts?
