Eureka! FSB150! My heart is pounding.

I can't believe it!...Just broke a major barrier! Have gone from max 682 to a stable 825Mhz with my P3 550E. So the story goes like this...
I couldn't get past what I thought was a video card oc problem...as I approached FSB 133, I would get video artifacts. Tried to change the AGP clock to 2/3 but it would freeze right after the post. Among several other options, I even tried CAS 3-3-3. So as a last act of desperation, I floored it - sort of. Sent the FSB to 140 and AGP to 2/3...And there it was...A site to behold - 798Mhz and a clean Windows logo. (I still don't know what happened at 133) Since then I've tried all the way to FSB 155, but got some screen freeze in Windows. Downshifted to FSB 150 where I've been ever since. Thought I'd wallow in some of this before trying to tweak my way up a few notches with some other tests. So my latest config is:

cpu: P3 550E@825
fsb: 150
cpu temp: 91 F
mobo: Abit BE6-II v2
RAM: 2 x 256 Mb Micron PC133 2-2-2 (set to 3-3-3)
HDD: IBM Deskstar 60GXP (60 Gb) @ ATA100
SCSI: Adaptec 2940AU
NIC: Linksys NC100
Sound: SB Live! 5.1
Video: Visiontek Xtasy GeForce2 GTS 32Mb
OS: Win XP Pro

Feels good doesn't it? Congrats on the major increase in speed! Now...what to tweak next???

Thought I'd mess with the CAS/RAS settings, GeForce oc, bios caching, etc. and then up the FSB a little.

Any thoughts?

I love fsb! I got 170FSB @ Cas2 wif no tweakin! 180 here I go, unfortunately my 1900+ ain't unlocked so....

congrats, that is a good overclock with that chip. Go for nore but dont fry it = ( unless u need an excuse for a new chip) but that one is a keeper

yah, i love my FSB. I dont know if it would help you, but cooling my northbridge dramaticaly increased my max FSB speeds
