compatability question

i have some leftover ddr2 667 240 pin that i'd rather not replace. the motherboard that i am getting supports ddr2 800. it is my understanding that it will still be compatable but i would just like to check before i try it.

Yeah it should work for you however you might have to manually adjust the voltage and timings for them to work right. What board is it plus what make ram?
