Best DVD- ROM????

Thinking of asking for a DVD-rom for my computer.. just wondering which one to get?

i have a pioneer 16 speed slot dvd 106 have not had a problems with it so far.

I have a Sony 16x, no troubles at all, i think it all depends on personal tastes/needs. Try to get the maximum reading speeds and you'll be ok.

SCSI wil be faster, but more expensive.

i think u will find it easier with slot loading DVD-roms cos the cd or dvd loads faster and there is no risk of breaking the tray off.
I've got the pioneer 106s (slot) and i'm very pleased.

Pioneer seems to be a popular and a well quality brand..
