I feel I have seen ghosts...
Recently bought my rig, two days ago overclocked it without many problems to 3,24 GhZ. Worked stable at 53 degrees load, memory worked at 900 4:5 ratio. Tested with 3D-mark for 5 hours and with orhois for another 3-4 hours on total. Was about to test MEMtest
What did since then:
- Removed OS
- loaded defaul clock speed (2,4)
- Removed Raid 0 (since was not able to intall another OS on it)
- Installed OS fresh (WinXP pro+ Russian from a home-built disk) together with all drivers and utiulities
- Turned on AI NOS (a utility to overclock based on system needs from AI Suite - ASUS MB utility)
Once running NuclearMC noticed temperature of proc 77 degrees. I thought some bug or AIsute shows something weird, turned off AI Sute.
Just to be on the safe side removed Zalman, put it on arktic silver paste, put it on again, added another fan I removed earlier.. Turning on.
After reboot always see temperature - 22 degrees... trying to load with orthis, it goes up to 35, but then I suddenly see 82. I stopped orthosis, temperature goes down to 77.. I am shocked, rebooting, temp - 22. Now starting my record.
So, start. As I said, 21 degrees. Test starts at 6:20 PM

30 seconds, temp 34

after 8 minutes temperature goes to 37
http://homepages.nyu.edu/~vya201/8_min.jpg
at this point I decided that I simply saw a ghost, left to kitchen for a minute. And here it is:

notice, PC-wiz shows 37.. refreshing PCwiz
http://homepages.nyu.edu/~vya201/10_min_refresh_pcwiz.jpg
its 82... :(
Core temp shows 35-37. Restarting coretemp and AI-sute, nothing changes..
http://homepages.nyu.edu/~vya201/10_min_restart_coretemp.jpg
still same.
I do not understand anything
Can anyone tell me what might be a problem here?
Please!!!!
PS I bought all stuff from newegg can still change MB or CPU
