anyone owns that cpu ? what is best oc for it ?
My problem is that i can't oc it to 1000mhz. Im using ECS k7s5a mobo rev0, i have set the L7 bridges all closed (1.85v). It posts on 133/133 setting (memory settings are set to worst) but when it starts to load win2000, it crashes. My PC133 SDRAM is ok, cuz i ran Memtest86 over night it passed 6 times. When using oc bios and settings 124/124 1.85v it works flawlessy (temp. is 36-39C).
Also tryed to lower multipler by joining one the L6 bridges, but blank screen after it.
Anyone can give me a advice how to make 1ghz oc possible with this mobo and cpu ?

It could be that u hit the max that this CPU will give u at 1.85Vcore...
If ur mobo is Vcore adjastible, u could do a volt mod and get higher vcore that way, but if u can't change the vcore through BIOS, or mobo jumpers, then it won't do any good.

No vcore adjusting for this mobo. Too bad.

I went to jeweller, and he cut 2nd L3 bridge for me (he used tool that is used for cutting tags into silver rings). I joined the 1st L3 bridge by pencil. So bridges look like this:

: | : | . L3
L1 . : : : :
| | | | | . L7
L6 . | | | :

This setting is the one for multipler 7.0 and vcore 1.85. But still mobo stays blank.
One thing i noticed that after cutting the bridge, the tool left a silver trail. Is it still conductiv and how i could clean it ?

Sorry for my bad english.

Seems that jeweller didn't made a clean job. I looked closer and saw that 2nd L3 bridge is still closed. I tryed to open it by myself.
Tryed scalpel, class, class knife (diamond) and sharp knife, but no luck.
Is there any other tool that i could use ?
