anybody ever replace the ram on a viper v770???

i imagine its possible if you have the surface mount tools but have any of you done it? i think it would be interesting to have a video card with 256 or 512 mb of ram on it, that is if the card can recognize that much ram

Someone on here put faster ram on a Geforce 2 MX. I'm not sure about putting more ram on it though.

It would make no difference anyways, the tnt2 chipsets bus is too limited to do anything with more than 32mb in actuality.

yup

a guy put some faster ram on a card but if you put more on the card would still think it 32meg or whatever it is now

I wonder if you can make a bios update for it........

and I donno where you would be able to get the ram
