View Full Version : Seti Driver acting weird...

I just added a PIII 800@ 1000 to my slowly growing farm. The first thing I downloaded was Seti command line version, along with Seti SPy, Seti Log and Seti Driver. Also, made sure that all these programs are in the same folder. I have no problems running Seti Driver on my other comp but for some reason this time it's acting a little funny.

When I load Seti Driver, the completion bar does not compute (stuck at 0.0%). I can see it running in the background using Task manager. Furthermore, if I run Seti Spy, everything works perfectly.

Have any suggestions?

Thanks !

I know that this seems an obvious one, but have you checked the boxes for progress monitoring (bottom left of Seti Driver control panel). Sorry if this is not the problem.

Yep, they were already checked. Thanks

That's the bug in the program. A lot of times if a machine locks up or reboots, or weirdest of all if you clear your cmos, the next time you start seti driver it loads but never makes any progress even though task manager says the cpu is under full load. The only fix for me has been to grab a fresh copy from another computer and start over.

That's exactly what happened. I had to clear CMOS. I went from 1000 to 960 :(

It's working fine now.

Thanks guys
