Lost keycode

Dumb question, I was going to loan my copy of Fear to a friend, Anyway I can't find the cd sleeve that has the keycode, I don't want to try and get an illegal keygen, Is the keycode hidden anywhere in the software or am I just out of luck?

Out of Luck unfortunatly. Even if you have it installed on a machine its probably encoded in your registry so you couldn't even retrieve it that way.

If you send a picture of the box/cdcase to the company and request a new cdkey they MIGHT give you one.

I read that there is a file called "key.ini" in the FEAR user directory. I don't have FEAR installed on my computer right now (already beat it) so I can't confirm that. But you might check it out.

fear has free multiplayer now and they provide u with a cdkey that key works for fear single player as well if u have the original game i tried it and it works lol figured that might help you a bit ;)

Wow, then why would they even need a cd key if they're going to give it away for free?
