Howdy, I've got a carputer in the planning stage.
Usage:
GPS (got a GPS 'puck' (antenna) on the way) to track where I've been
Weather database. I would receive transmissions from a radio and log and track weather and such.

Anyways, my idea is to get a C2D System, and under clock it TONS. Any suggestions or ideas?
Some problems that need to be solved, this is why I'm coming to you guys:
1. Power supply, from the car, to the computer. If I could get a DC power supply. that would be awesome. Also, who has tied a computer into their car electrical system? How did you do it?
2. damnit. My mom just came and started talking, so I forgot everything else

Oh well, We'll see! Suggestions? This wouldn't be permanent, its a cheap alternative to a laptop. It would be a case that me and my dad would make....other than that! Thanks!
