Yes... I'm still using my Pressler! Haven't got around to building a new PC :bang head

Anyhow, I just started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadows of Chernobyl and man, this game works your PC.

Anyhow, during a fire fight, the PC pretty much stuttered so the point where I was getting 1 FPS and BOOM blue screen.

I rebooted, and PC locked up, rebooted again and it said OC failed!

Problem is, because I have had so many months of non issues with my OC, I didn't log my settings, so now I don't know what settings to go back to :bang head

I tried going back to 4.1 Ghz, but when I booted the system, everything started sttaa stutt stuttttering.

What do you guys think may caused this? Is this a sign of my CPU going out?

Boot into the recovery consol off the CD. Most likely you have some corruption on your hard disk that needs to be fixed.

Once in the recovery consol, type "chkdsk /r" which will detect any errors including surface errors that might exist. It will take a while, but then you'll be sure your disk is working properly.
