Assignment Server is having some problems

It looks like one of the primary servers is having some issues and we are working on it. Right now, this isn't affecting assigns, but we've turned off stats updates and other critical services until we can get back up and going.
This is unrelated to the PS3 rollout as we've isolated the PS3 client on new servers just for those clients to keep the PS3 launch from affecting the rest of FAH (and vice versa).

I had just noticed I've got some clients lining up to submit results.

atm i only have 2 linux clients waitng for work ... not a prob for me so far since these are second instances on the quads ... the first instances are just going faster now tpf ~7 min vs ~ 12 min.

After a few restarts of one of the instances it was able to submit its completed wu, but could not get another.

The network for the entire Stanford School of Medicine is down, and so some critical FAH machines are down with it. We have been moving more and more redundant servers to other nets (we already have many data servers, so now it's just about moving the AS's), so in the future we'll be able to handle this much more smoothly. For now, we're waiting on Stanford IT.

I was able to send and receive WUs on my previously stalled boxes. Took quite a few service restarts, but it finally took.

You are getting to the assignment server when you get 0.0.0.0 but it means the work server is down/offline or empty.
