My mate picked up his PS3 today in the UK I am going round to attach it to his wireless network and first thing I'm doing is updating it unlessit already has the 1.6 installed.

You would think they would also fix it so that the Guitar Hero controller would work, it really wouldn't be that hard. But I guess they just want to make us wait for Guitar Hero PS3 so you have to buy that one.

Just got this firmware and it's a very good start for Sony, though some things of course still need to be addressed. The F@H client I am really loving, it feels very clean and it's very cool how you can see a light on the map for each PS3 folding so you can see which areas are folding the most and what not.

is it active ps3's or ps3's folding? me and my roommate are guessing on that since in f@h it says "active" ps3's and doesn't specify if active means running the client or just on the network. that sure seems like an awful lot of ps3's folding if it is.

While the dots are rather big so I think it's actually active as in currently folding. (That is what a Sony PR man said at least). It's pretty cool going over the globe and looking at places like Africa that has 1 little dot near the bottom knowing that someone down there is folding.
