I've gotta hx520w powering the kit in my sig. I'm putting some finishing touches on my external watercooling box which houses a mcp355 (12v 18w, 1.5a) pump along with 3 panaflo's (12v, .45a) I've got 2 case fans (from the antec p180 case 3speed fans) as well. I run all of my fans on low / 7v but need the ability to run them at full peed. I'd like to get a fan controller, something like http://www.silentpcreview.com/article133-page1.html to control the 3 fans in the waterbox.
i used to run a separate psu in the waterbox but i did have 6 fans before. my question is, can my new psu handle the load? Since it's an external box, i'd have to run some cable from 1 or 2 12v rails to the box.
what do you folks think, and if it's possible, do you think i should run a single 12v rail over to the box and split it up, or 1 for the pump, and one for the fan controller?
thankya
