I have been getting some weird error messages recently. i just had 2 stick of memory fail on my and they are being RMA'd right now so they are not installed. now i just have the 2 1 gig sticks installed.
BAD_POOL_ERROR has been the recent stop code i got that i can remember.
When i googled this message i came to a couple placing that put the error on memory. i figured the other memory was now bad too.
However when i ran memtest86 for 2 hours i got no error messages.
all my settings have gone back to stock settings and i am still having the random lockups and reboots. does anyone know what i should do? is memtest a kind of program i let run overngiht and see if i get errors or is 4 runs sufficient?
