Last time they had this I noticed it only worked once a day
Once a day is better than once and never again.

It may be once per day, once per Newegg account, or once per day per account. I've found many of Newegg's past promo codes to be good once per account.
At least gaypal can't ruin this one since it is Newegg's code :p
damn.... once per account... wanted to use it again right now. oh well.

i could just use my gf's account, but whatever i'm not stressing just for savings of $8... i wasn't even gonna purchase anything, but wanted to take advantage of free shipping.
i'll just be $8 less generous to someone else for the week i decide to buy what i was gonna buy... lol :D

Darn, I was considering getting something inexpensive which was a want not need and felt silly paying 25% in shipping. Oh well.

I tried using it today to purchase an item with a cost of $34 and shipping of just under $7 and received a message that the code was valid, but that I didn't meet the terms of the promotion.
This led me to believe that there was a minimum purchase amount that either hasn't been mentioned in this thread or that I overlooked.
What is the least that anyone has purchased and still received the $10 off on shipping?

The code was working again as of last night. The terms you didn't meet probably just refer to not finishing the checkout with paypal.

I did select Paypal as the payment method, but perhaps it was like you stated...at that point I had not actually PAID with Paypal.
I'll go give it a try again and see what happens.

Although you've entered a valid promo code, your order does not currently meet the code's usage criteria. Please double-check your order and try again.
That was the message that I received and the previously deducted shipping charge was added back...even after I paid for it with Paypal. Needless to say, I voided my order and will give them a call tomorrow to see if I can find out why it won't go thru.

This is kinda crazy, too. I'm online, typing a post, yet the forum's star designating whether an individual is online (yellow star) or offline (white) shows that I'm offline.
That has got to be a first.

Well, at least my star is yellow again. Good to know that I'm still here while typing and not somewhere else. :)

If you are talking about the email newsletter that is sent by newegg with special offers and promotions...then yes, I'm on that list.
Just to be sure, though, I signed up per the link above.

I saw it on this page: http://promotions.newegg.com/NEemail/March-0-2007/Promo032207in/index-landing.html?CMP=EMC-IGNEFL032207&ATT=graphic-from-txt

Yep, that email is one that I recently received so I was already subscribed.
Which means that I still don't know why the promo code did not work for me. Just as well, as I decided not to buy the part after all.

I just used this coupon to order my first LCD TV for my living room to replace the 36" tube behemoth! :santa:
I also got a uber good deal, I saved $239.01 from the lowest price anywhere on the internet. My head hurts from searching the net for the lowest price, and then finding a way to get an extra 25% or so off that price.
And getting Paypal to chip in ten bucks to boot thanks to this thread ! I almost forgot there was a $10 off coupon listed here by raccoonone. (Owe you one raccoonone)
Gotta go to bed now because I'm now exhausted from my search for the best deal, which took a couple hours, I now need to reboot my brain via some sleep.

that doesn't ALWAYS work... i do long searches before i spend anything over $100... reading up on the product and whatnot and learning the capabilities and benefits against the competition...

As g0dM@n said, a little research never hurts if your spending hundreds of dollars, Froogle doesn't always list the lowest price, more often than not they do. Almost always, Froogle is alot better than Pricewatch which almost never gives you lowest price. Pricewatch will give you the lowest price from some pretty lousy vendors like BUYAIB and such.
But like you said, if you use Froogle and especially Pricewatch, if you don't use Resellerratings, you could get burned.
I had to do the research last night, and it wasn't just price, I had to look up info on the processor chips and research whats the best HDMI cable and such to make sure I got the best bang for my buck ;)

Ah yes well I didn't consider the background product research as part of price-searching. So how else do you do price-searching other than froogle, pricewatch etc? I gave up on pricewatch a while ago, the listings were frequently inaccurate and as you said finding reputable listings was harder.
