help!!

I think I might have fried my t-bird. I think I read some where You can fry it even if you don't have power to it. The basic just of it is I got arctive silver all over it and I couldn't just leave there so I have to wipe the chip down with denatured alcohol. The worst part is I don't have all my parts yet so I can't even test it. any ideas?

You can kill it with a static discharge.

Your not the 1st person to get arctic silver on their cpu, just use a q-tip and the alcohol and get as much as you can possibly get off it should be fine.

Try to handle the cpu by the edges to avoid a static discharge to the cpu.

thanks I will sleep better tongiht. But anyways if I did fry it, it was worth learning how to perfect apllying arctic silver :D
