What psu for my high end system quad core and possible 8900 SLI rig

Seasonic M12 Modular 700W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply -
OCZ GAMEXSTREAM OCZ700GXSSLI 700W A/PFC

or any other recommendations

Of those two I would get the Seasonic.

Comparing the two on several websites yields the useful knowledge that they have almost exactly the same stats.

Id go with a Zippy 500w, Corsair HX520, or a Silverstone 560w. This OCZ has some ripple issues under high load. Unless you get it for almost free (i did:)) then don't get it.

EDIT - I just saw you plan for a quad core and 8900s. Then you will want something with a LOT more power. Check out the Zippy 600w, Corsair 620w or Silverstone 750w.

I'll vouch for the Corair HX520. It runs dead silent and the volts are spot-on. Either the Corsair or a Seasonic unit would be the way to go. Seasonic is my favorite PSU brand as of lately.
