Keep an eye on your livestock. I found one of my Linux SMP rigs just sitting doing nothing. Killed the client and restarted it and it just kept saying pass deadline :bang head. Had to kill the queue and work folder to get it to take off. This started with a phone problem that left my DSL on a rollercoaster connection. Fixed the DSL but forgot to check the linux farm :arrg

Thanx for the "heads up" AC I have a 4 point router and I've been playing "musical" DSL with a PD 805 I forgot to switch cables on the PD and when I did it said something like " passed deadline" for a p2604 :bang head (man, that hurt)
Oh yeah, for us "grammatically challenged" dougies means cows, right? (I know it doesn't mean a bunch of dogs or a bunch of guys named Doug  )
Hope thats not supposed to be Doggies.:) A bunch of machines named Doug thats a good one JWS lol

It's dogie or dogies, DOH! Fixed the title thanks. Random House defines it as a motherless calf!
And this is not just limited to the linux smp client ... it happens with the win smp beta too ... but not as often in my experience.
