I hope the title explains a little. What I am asking is to compare a decent mid budget SLI capable video card to what I currently use with ATI.
I have a X1800XL and I was looking at going to an SLI board and I am very interested in finding what Nvidia Cards are within the same budget/Class that would offer good quality when using them in SLI mode.

just move your current card over to your new board its not like it isnt going to work on an sli mobo. I may be missunderstanding your situation but regardless it is usually better to buy one card for x rather then get two cards, for x/2 each, to run sli for the best performance.

any thing above a 7600gt in sli will out bench your 1800xl

Thanks everyone, so in comparison; a 7600gt is equivalent to a x1800xl? or are you saying that the 7600gt would need to be in SLI mode to outperform the x1800xl?
What videocard is equivalent to umm X1800/X1900?
Im wanting to jump the bandwagon and start using Nvidia :)

That is extremly handy, its funny to look at this chart, it really shows SLI and CF as being worthless.
I was looking at SLI pairs costing $300 for both, they got beat by 1x $300 card.
This makes one, the option of saving money on a non SLI board and not needing SLI. This guide also shows that it would behove me to stay on the ATI bandwagon.
Thanks CGR

Yea you would need 2 7600's in sli to beat your system .
Unless you are going to get a 8800 i would keep what you have
