I was wondering if you guys could help me pick out which MB would be better for me. I was thinking about an EVGA 680i or a p5b-d wifi and im not going to be using the sli feature. With a e6400 and probably will get these BUFFALO Firestix 2gb (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820150054) which board would be better for this rig? im also going to be using Raid 0.... any suggestions/comments would be extremely appreciated. i see both boards pretty much have there bugs fixed by this time and with the price drops coming up i decided its time to start on this new pc...

I really can't speak for the 680i boards, but I'm very happy with my E6400 & P5B DLX. I'm running 8*400 without even breaking a sweat. I've had it up to 8*425 for 3.4 GHz but for 24x7 I settled on the 3.2 GHz setting and that allows me to run my RAM at spec (DDR 800) with a 1:1 divider or DDR 1000 with a 4:5 divider.
I'd say if you're not going SLI the P5B is the way to go.

if your not going to use sli, then there's no reason to get an sli board, the p5b would be my vote, less issues overclocking and cheaper, as a matter of fact you could get a ob p5b del @ the egg for 109 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131045R
not wifi, but you can't beat the price, :D

yes, it may be missing some accessories as well, but for that price, I'd deal with it

The p5b will get you a higher oc than a 680 board. Actually, the 680 board might get close, but it won't be as easy as it is with a 965p board. With that memory, you have the potential of getting 4ghz, assuming your cpu will do 500mhz fsb. If not, you have two other multipliers to play with. Just keep in mind that you have to get a good hsf for your cpu or you won't be oc'ing very high. These things put out a lot of heat.
