It turns out my 2GB Crucial Ballistix set has been the reason for my funny boot issues. So I called up Crucial expecting to wait forever and deal with nonsense with the people on the phone. (been having a bad experience with Sapphire:bang head ) However, it was the most painless process I've ever been through. They were very nice and helped me get this memory to the RMA processes very quickly. There is even an option for "cross-shipping" (they send memory, then I send mine) Which is perfect because only one of my memory sticks died, which means no downtime for me! So for their most excellent support they definitely get a nice big star in my book. :thup:
