Crystal Orbed 7500 cracks 5000 3DMark2K1 @ 342/562

Well I did it after a little tweaking!! I hit 5024 in 3D Mark2K1.

I had my 1.2 pc266 T Bird cpu @ 1470 = 147 @10x
agp fastwrites off
spread spectrum disabled
agp aperture @ 128

I am impressed with this card I got a great overclock of 342/562.5

I had the window to my room open to lower the temp as well, side cover off case. No tearing or artifacting but with case close and window shut I did get some. I can run it at 330/545 no problems, so heat is the issue as usual!!

Heres my link and a pic of modded 7500, Also since I fashioned my own ramsinks one of the ram chips on the card only has half a ramsink. I think when I correct this it will help a bit.

Good oc, stick a card cooler under it and cool ya case real good and it shouldn't artifact, and maybe you'll get more with the Window open!!!

Well I got off a default @ 10x141,I dont think I can get 147 out of my Kingston133. I'm doing my best to nip at your heels 4828 (http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2178313) but your killing me in the CPU OC, I need a better fan for my SK6, it's from a stock FOP32.

Do vid card fans suck or blow? The cardcooler sucks, and you wouldn't want it to be under your card if the vid card fan sucks too. I have an Elsa Geforce2 GTS that sucks and I found that out when I tried to use the cardcooler. Just a thought:)

What do you mean when you say you got a "default off" and why is your z buffer depth 24 and mine 32 bit when I compare scores. I am wondering if lowering it increases 3D Mark score?? Hmm Anyone know, cause it takes alot of 3 D mark runs when you are just changing one setting at a time.

I am waiting for another stick of Crucial pc2100 ddr ram the **** is the bomb. I read a review where they were gettting 165 fsb out of it!!!!

thanks for the feedback on the card cooler, I will have to look into em more cause I was gonna get one but I found this other gadget that expels hot air and draws in cool air and fits a pci slot!!
