I need a performance comparison

Ok so i went and bought the Pentium D 915 since i need the new comp built NOW. The plan is that im gona use this processor for about 3-4 months and then my dad is gona buy it off me and ill use this one to build his personal computer (since he does not game). What i wanted to know is, how much of a performance increase will i see over my current athlon 64 3000+ running at 2400mhz? The specs of my new computer are in my sig....

and if i overclock this thing a little bit, using the stock cooler, how much will it help with the performance increase?

For gaming, the A-64 will outperform the Pentium D, even with a modest O/C. Should of got a Core 2 Duo.

just drop an E4300 in it
