I can't decide between these three DDR2-800 2x1Gb kits (all Micron D9GMH (B6-3) chips):

G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ:

Mushkin #996533:

Super Talent T800UX2GC4:

As you can see, price isn't an issue at this point. All I want is a set that will o/c well on an Abit AWD9-MAX motherboard (w/ an E6600), and if you know of any other kits that will perform better than these please post some info. Thanks in advance for any input.

The thing that kinda threw me a bit was that the Super Talent had timings of 4-4-3-8, unlike the G.Skill (4-4-4-12) and the Mushkin (4-5-4-11). Will I actually see numbers like that (4-4-3-8) and is Super Talent a decent brand? If so, I just might go with that; they seem to be really good chips but I don't know much about the brand.

Go for the one with the slightly lower times.... how far past 800 are you going to OC the ram anyway?

Pick up the cheapest set. Since they should all be D9GMH the OCs will be around the same.

This is good to know. I obviously missed a memory guide somewhere. I always thought the best brands and most expensive would clock the highest.

Sometimes the more expensive or better known brands will clock a bit better. However that is usually because they either are using higher binned ICs or hand picked stuff. This should be a lot of help for those wanting to find D9 chips.
