I've got a VisionTek Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS 64MB DDR Card and the fan's burned out on it. Bummer. Now the underside's as hot as an oven, and I KNOW I can't run like this. Please could someone advise me if there is an 'upgrade kit' available - I'd like to replace the existing heat sink and fan and also add ram sinks.
Please be aware that I don't want to do a McGyver on this - I'm looking for a professional result that will be reliable.
Advice as to how to get the old heat sink without completely trashing the chip underneath would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Ron

an easy way to do this would be to go the 2cooltek.com adn get one of their heatsink replacement kits, comes with everythjing you need very nivcely done...a bit expensive, personally i would buy a crystal orb for 10$ online....it fits exactly on the pegs for you video card...you will also have to get some thermal compound i suggest Artic Alumina, or Radio shack stuff...
