i am thinking about upgrading my cel 566/850@100 to a faster cel based on 100fsb so i can raise the fsb up higher on my abit be6-2 ata 66. i have the pc 133 ram already so i want to raise the bus alittle higher without freaking out my hdd or other hdwe. i assume the cel fcpga series is still compatible as a pIII chip. i like how the 256 cache is avail on the 1.2 though will i see a big difference between it and say, the 1.0 or 1.1 with its 128 cache? which is a good choice for overclocking modestly for performance and reliably?? thanks.

the tualatin is much better than the celly 1.1 in both terms of ocing and performance....youve seen comparisons of a PIII800 beating a Celly 1.1? thats the same as a Celly 1.2 crushing a Celly1GHZ....however you will have to get a new mobo as the powerleap sucks from what ive herad....

Nope, the fastest is the Celeron 1100Mhz. It's still a FC-PGA coppermine.
